Life in the Bike Lane

Wow, what a rush!
Biked in downtown Kirkland and along the waterfront up to the Interstate overpass, and around Lake Washington Tech College. Feeling better about riding in the traffic. If you are out there driving in your car and you see a cyclist, remember she is smaller than you and her body is completely exposed. Can't help but think about Mr. Miyagi and the "squish like grape" analogy.

  1. Riding on the road is always an adventure, about the only piece of advice I can give you is to always assume that the car does not see you and never expect the right of way even when you have it.

  2. I love the analogy. I promise I always look out for bikers on the road. Sounds like a great ride.
