Over the Bridge, Around the Island, Across the Pond

There are times I'm surprised how far twenty miles can actually take you. And there are times I'm surprised as in, "that's it...I want to keep going, but if I don't turn around soon, I will have run a marathon today."

That's what happened on Sunday's run-started in Bellevue at the Nature Reserve, ran over the I-90 bridge and around Mercer, then continued across the 'pond' to Lakeside Ave which is part of the Seattle Marathon course. I had planned to run up to Madison and over to the Arboretum, but by the time I made it to Leschi, my watch said 17 miles and by the time I got back to the Nature Preserve, it was twenty three miles. Maybe it's time to go for a 50K.
